Course 1: Foundations of AI in Finance: Applications and trends  is designed to provide you with a cohesive overview of the current landscape of AI in finance.

Dr. Ayesha Khana

Dr. Ayesha Khanna is Co-Founder and CEO of ADDO AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) advisory firm and incubator. She is a strategic advisor on artificial intelligence, smart cities and Fintech to clients such as SMRT, Singapore's largest public transport company, SOMPO, Japan's largest insurance firm, and SmartDubai. Ayesha is also the Founder of 21C GIRLS, a charity that delivers free coding and artificial intelligence classes to girls in Singapore. Ayesha is author of Straight Through Processing (2008) and co-author of Hybrid Reality: Thriving in the Emerging Human-Technology Civilization (2012). She has been published and frequently quoted on important business publications such as The New York Times, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, etc. Ayesha has a BA in Economics from Harvard University, an MS in Operations Research from Columbia University and a PhD in Information Systems and Innovation from the London School of Economics.

Huy Nguyen Trieu

Huy Nguyen Trieu is the Co-Founder of the CFTE - Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship. He is also the CEO of The Disruptive Group – a business builder and advisory firm in innovation and finance. Prior to setting up CFTE, Huy was a Managing Director at Citi, and previously at Royal Bank of Scotland and Société Générale. Before banking, he was the CEO of Ukibi, a VC-funded startup in the US. He is a frequent keynote speaker in Europe and Asia, likes to teach and share with students and entrepreneurs, and is regularly quoted in articles on innovation and finance. He writes the blog Disruptive Finance, is a Fintech Fellow at the Centre for Global Finance and Technology at Imperial College, an Entrepreneurship Expert at Oxford Said Entrepreneurship Centre. He is also a member of ESMA’s Consultative Working Group for financial innovation and a founding member of the Asian SuperCharger, one of the largest Fintech accelerators in Asia. Huy is a graduate from MIT (US), École Polytechnique (France) and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussees (France). He is married and a happy father of 3 daughters.
